April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month

Save the Date: Wear Blue Day on Friday, April 10th!

Join us in recognizing April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month by proudly participating in Wear Blue Day 2026.

On Friday, April 10th, we invite you to wear blue to help raise awareness and show support for strengthening families and protecting children in our community.

How to Participate:
1. Wear your favorite blue outfit on April 10th.
2. Take a photo of yourself or your team wearing blue.
3. Upload your photo to the Kern County Wear Blue Day Facebook Event google drive (bit.ly/wearblue-april10) and post on social media #WearBlueDay2026#KernCountyNetworkforChildren.
4. Images shared via google drive will be featured on the Kern County Network for Children (KCNC) Facebook page and shared with the Office of Child Abuse Prevention!
