Our Annual Ready-Set Back 2 School Backpack Giveaway Events are coming to Kern County Libraries this July 2026!

Kids in Kindergarten through 12th grade receive a FREE backpack, school supplies, & giveaways!

We are proud partners of Kern County Library! Families are invited to enjoy our free backpack giveaway events at these library branches:

Ridgecrest Library

July 17, 10am-12pm

Wasco Library

July 21, 10am-12pm

Buttonwillow Library

July 23, 10am-12pm

California City Library

July 30, 10am-12pm

*Child must be present with adult,

* Limit of 1 backpack per child,

* While supplies last

*Free event, no reservation needed. First come, first served.
