Child Support payments communicate that you want to provide a better life for your child and ensure their needs are met.

Child Support payments are due on the first of every month. Due to mailing and processing time, payments must be submitted by the 20th each month. A past due balance is subject to interest charges if a payment is received late. All payments are sent and distributed by the State Disbursement Unit (SDU).

To pay in cash or check, use our Payment Kiosks at our offices in Bakersfield, Delano, and Ridgecrest from Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. To set up Direct Deposit, visit the State Disbursement Unit website.

Enroll to receive payments through Direct Deposit or an Electronic Pay Card by visiting the State Disbursement Unit website. You can also request to receive your child support payment as a paper check or Money Order. Contact us for more information.
